What we do

Since the beginning, Nordcell has been dedicated to connecting pulp producers with leading paper mills.

We source, market, sell and finance wood pulp from an international network of suppliers and we offer a full range of wood pulp products from chemi-thermomechanical pulp to chemical pulp and fluff pulp. Our portfolio covers both hardwood and softwood-based pulps.

In addition to meeting customer requirements for the right product, we also provide logistics as well as trade finance solutions. Most importantly, we don’t just trade pulp; we build long-term partnerships.

Where we are active

The company is managed from our head office in Stockholm and our Gothenburg branch in Sweden. We have a strong local presence in our main markets: South Asia, the Middle East and select African countries.

Our history

Nordcell was founded in 1992 in the “pulp trade capital” Gothenburg, but was soon relocated to Stockholm, Sweden. Initially, the focus was around the Mediterranean, but we have been active in several challenging markets throughout our existence – this is where we are best able to deliver value to our stakeholders.
